‹architetture›: Andrea Crosa, Dominik Stauch
17.1.–28.02.04
Andrea Crosa (It) and Dominik Stauch (CH) work both with numerous media. Often, it treats thematically of transformation of architectonic- geometric rooms to artistic conceptions. While Crosa builds whole cityscapes from several, painted components, Stauch has simple geometric forms, which suggest spatiality. Basically both artists are painters, who left behind the classic canvas, in order to turn to new forms of painting. Crosas meticulously produced house structures seem as objects and three-dimensional, and in collective they become wall filling installations. Stauchs oil paint behind glass or even the animated videos attest to old ambition in art, to create in the two-dimensional a three-dimensional.
